Sesame and Rosemary Crackers

Sesame and rosemary paleo crackers with nut butter

Top notch Paleo coconut flour crackers recipe. I like to add my favourite herb rosemary to my batch, but you could leave out or replace with another herb, ground/dried work as well – I have done these with smoked paprika before, good if you want a cracker with a kick.

Makes about 20

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp tahini paste
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of sesame seeds (optional)
  • A handful of fresh rosemary (optional)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp coconut flour
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Pre heat the oven to 170 degrees
  2. Mix the tahini, butter or coconut oil, egg, sesame seeds and finely chopped rosemary
  3. Add the coconut flour and salt
  4. Stir into a sticky texture
  5. Cover an ovenproof tray with grease proof paper and roll out the mixture into a large thin sheet about 2-3mm thick
  6. Score the rolled out mix with a knife, making squares of the cracker size that you prefer and prick with a fork
  7. Cook for about 15 mins until browned
  8. Enjoy your homemade primal crackers with your favourite nut butter
